what prop should i go with to make my voyager a speed demon =D got a .40 LA for it. ill use a 10X7 to get the plane flying and trimmed but what should i get to get it to go faster

My first step would be to take the fishing weight off the plane and install just about anything else. The LA is fine for a slow trainer but worthless as a speed engine. Look for a good 46FX of something along that line if you really want to go fast, maybe a JETT, ROSSI, ect.[8D]

LA 40 and speed is an oxymoron, but, try an APC 8x8 . You may need a lot of room to take off, but it should do close to 120 if you can get it airborne. Make sure the engine is well broken in first, it's gonna turn close to 16000 rpm in the air, probably about 13-13500 on the ground.

I agree, toss the LA. Try an MVVS with the tuned silencer. The 49 should get that puppy hummin. It will pull it quite quicly. Just be sure to reinforce the wing and tail feathers.

well im gonna keep the LA just b/c i have little money (only 17 as u know) an the engine is totally borken in. had it on my test stand and it does idle to full with no problem and it sonds good too. i need to buy an engine for my RV-4 still so thats first. i just wanted a prop that would take my plane with its engine the fastest
