I left my plane in my car for too long, and the beautiful canopy on my seduction got a little disfigured. I ordered a new one, but it's going to be the clear standard canopy, not the "Ono Special" one. . I've dyed canopies in the past with good results, but have heared that it is very difficult to dye these canopies due to low heat tolerance. Please post your dyeing techniques. If you have a good product, post the link to their site or where to purchase it.
Thanks for your help!

I have just finished a pattern plane ( the Bernie) that has a SIG 12" canopy.
I painted the interior with a gloss black spray paint. I misted on 3 coats to get an even coverage. The result is a very beautiful gloss black canopy with no chance of the paint being affected by fuel, exhaust residue or plane cleaner. It is opaque, so it is not a tint. Good luck& happy landings Tony

Thanks...I was reading that post early on, but knew that I couldn't use the RIT dye technique on this canopy. The Testors paint looks just right. Hoping to post some pics soon.
