I'm building a Herr J3 Piper Cub, with an .061 engine. Does it matter what size switch I use? I have a switch lying around (new), its a Novak NOV5600. I'm going to use a Hitec Micro 555 receiver. For the servo's I'm using Hitec HS 81's. Its a small, probably micro switch (wire is about .040). So I guess my real question is does it matter what size switch/wire for say a 1100 ma nicad battery? Is the switch/wire to small to handle it? Or will it work just fine? I'm "guessing" it will work w/o a problem. But I just want to check & make sure b4 I melt/fry something. Sorry if its a stupid question.
Thanks very much!

It's not a stupid question. I know that I don't know the answer because I am not familiar with the Novak switch, and I am betting no one else is either... or you would have recieved an answer.
If the wires are smaller than a normal switch, I would not use it. You described it as a micro switch and it may not be designed to carry the necessary current. Since switches are the most likely part of the radio system to fail, I would get another one. It's not worth risking the plane over.
