Trimming problem
Every time I do this, I seem to screw it up. Trying to set up my trainer so it's easy for a guy I will train. Two problems. When I got it in the air it's climbing out of sight...many clicks down trim. It is also banking, turning right...many clicks left aileron. Finally got it straight and level and land without incident. I leave the trim on the TX exactly as I have set it to be neutral flight. I come home with it like that...undisturbed. How best to change the control problems on the plane so the TX can be returned to zero trim and fly in this corrected condition? This has always baffled me. I'm sure you people have a method for this that is foolproof. Could you pass it on?
Other problem...This is a ST40 pulling a PT40 with a 10X7 APC, and I don't recall having the yaw problem I have developed. On take-off I have never had to feed in left rudder, but now I do..I mean it almost makes a 180 and I almost lose it. After I trimmed the aileron it was not so severe. It will taxi straight until it builds up speed, then if I don't lift off I may lose it in a hard right turn. This is not a tail dragger, so I don't expect that. Help.

Trimming problem
George:
Go to the servos and remove control arms. Set your trims on Tx
back to center then put arms back on with the proper deflection.
Of course this is done with Rx & Tx on.
The veering is either too much right thrust or nose gear not in
line.

Couple of thoughts are to put in more downthrust in the motor
and to make sure when you replace adjusted arms, that there is
still full servo movement. Otherwise you might have to add lead
to the wingtip of the light wing.
