Has anyone used the automotive windshield washer pump (12 V.) as a glow fuel pump? The unit I am referring to is a generic unit with a plastic body that encloses both the impeller(?) and the motor. Looks pretty much sealed. The reason I'm asking is that Sig sells a Gas Passer fuel pump that looks very similar to the one I am referring to. Any pros and cons ?

I've never personally used one but I have seen them used. Works great.

Most of them are not compatable with glow fuel, could be exceptions.

I use one for a smoke pump. I don't see why it couldn't be used for glow fuel.

There is of course the compatability issue, but the only way to find out it to try it.
