Try an APC 11x5.

Hey flyerdude,
You should try an APC 12.25X3.75. Great UP and not much speed vs a 10X6 or other normal prop. Great to hover with too!

An APC 12.25x3.75 is a fun-fly prop, not really the best choice for the GP Venus which is more of a pattern plane.

Either the APC 12-4 or the APC 12.25-3.75 will do the job. The latter will load the engine a bit more.

I am also running an APC 11X6 on an OS 46 FX on my Venus. I'm getting about all the vertical I can possibly use. Going to a 11X5 will probably give you what you want. I would not recommend the fun fly props. The Venus does not have the fat airfoil of that style plane, and needs to fly a bit faster than a fun fly plane.

I'm currently flying my Venus with a 12+4 APC and a MACS one piece mini-pipe on my 46fx. It is by far the best all around
combo I've ever flown...it out-performs the 11+6 I was flying it on previously by long margin and helps the plane slow better
for landings... the knife-edge loops are a heck of a lot prettier with the 12+4...and the high-alpha KE is easier to hold...

I tried an apc 11.5x4 and it is like the perfect combo for the plane, i think it let the motor unload and scream(over 13,000 RPM), it took off in like 20 feet, and goes vertical until you can't see it.

Thanks for all of your quick responses, they are greatly appreciated.
