Default props

I have been wondering on what would be the best prop for engines ranging from 15 to big gassers. Wood, plastic or what masterairscrews are, apc or whatever kind of prop they are, Or carbon fibre props and also what brand is the best for the type.
THANKS!

I don't think there is one best type of prop. You may find on certain plane/engine combinations the majority of modelers choosing a specific prop, but what works best with one set up may not be the best on another. Even on a specific set up there will be different opinions on what is the best prop.

If you give a plane/engine combination and share what type of flying you want to do with it, I am sure prop suggestions will be offered. Don't expect everyone to agree.

I've been learning about props lately. For me the APC work great for smaller planes (60 and under). For my 25% CAP I prefer wood props because they are light (Bambula, Menz). The APC 18-8 weighs almost twice what the Bambula 18-8 weighs. APC are very efficient but I don't like the weight. I have not compared a CF to a wood one yet.
