Default Top Flight nylon props

I was in Kansas City a few weeks ago, went into a hobby/craft store. They had some R/C things from looked like years ago when they might have delt in some. They had some Top Flight brand nylon props 11/4, I bought all 4 they had for $.25 each, but my question is, they seem much to plyable, they are not nearly as rigid as the MA and APC props that I have. Are they good to run on my .46 sized motors?

These old nylon props had a bad habit of shedding blades at high RPM. We used to boil them in water for a few minutes and then let them cool in the water to reconstitute them as, when they dried out, they broke even easier. I still have a couple but don't use them anymore.

assuming these are the white nylon props make sure you boil them. a bunch of years ago someone at the field had one come apart on the ground. his depth perception is shot now with only on eye. i used to use a ten six on the fox35. and never had a problem myself. the newer engines spin a lot more rpm than a fox35

Don't use nylon props. They are super inefficient and cause a lot of vibration. Use glass-filled nylon or wood instead.
