I have a good running YS53 4stroke; need to find a new plane for it; any suggestions; thought of 80in Wing Span J3 Cub; any other suggestions would be appreciated; wanted a Kyosho 40 size Pitts Special; unfortunately it's been discontinued. Thanks.

Mine worked really well in lighter .40 sized aerobatic planes like my GP .40 sized CAP 232. It also works great in light .40 sized fun-fly, 3D type planes. I used mine in a Sig Fazer with great results...

The YS 53 would be a good match for the 80" Cub. I have an 80" Cub that I fly with a Magnum 52 four stroke, and flight is very scale with that engine. The YS would give you more power if needed, but allow scale flying at half throttle or less.

The 53 would also be a good engine in pretty much any 40 size sport plane, and many of the lighter scale 40 size.
