foam genius - where are you?

Is there a foam genius in the building?

What type of foam is best at absorbing vibration? Engine out due to fuel foaming is a severe problem with a twins.

Latex from the hobby shop....alternatively, you can use 2 drops of Armor-All in your gallon of fuel. No more foam....

Armor-All? Does that work!? I have a plane that I can't get the fuel to stop foaming. I've never heard of the Armor-All solution. Any chance it will hurt the engine?

No chance. If you use 2-3 drops in a gallon of fuel.
If you get carried away with a whole bunch in your fuel-like a couple capfuls, you'll eat glow plugs. I've done the 2-3 drops thing for years, and I usually have to change glow plugs.....well when they "get tired" which is not too often.
Armor-All was an industrial de-foaming agent before it was that goopy crap you smear up everything with.

Hi!
Well the easiest way to get rid of the vibrations ( I know that there is much more of that stuff in a twin as I have some twins myself ) is to get the best fueltanks available and that is to get the "bubbleless" fuel tank from Tettra. These tanks are unanimously used by all the worlds pylonflyers and they work real good. Dave Shadel (performance specialties, YS importer) in Nevada has them.
Regards!
