Homemade prop materials
Hello,
I have an old fashioned friend in Europe who likes to build everything himself including props. If i remember right, he uses epoxy with some weird material. It looks like a dolls hair or something like it. White material, which he puts in a form and then puts epoxy over it. Squeezes both form together and leaves it overnight. Next day a little sanding and its done.
Does anyone know what that material is?????
Here are pictures of one of the props he has made. You can see the material in the prop.

RE: Homemade prop materials
It's probably just fiberglass roving or strands. You can get it from any place that sells composite materials. Don't ask me where. I never use it.
