Default trim covering?

I'm building an ultra sport 40+ and plan on using the spacewalker trim scheme on this plane. My question is can I put the second color monocote over the first. And if so do I shrink the first before applying the second or shrink both at the same time?I'm referring to the wing as the fuse part looks easy enough to do with a minimum of overlap.

Shrink the base color on the plane first. Then you put the second color over the first color.

For applying the second (trim color ) I suggest cutting the trim piece to size, then use BLUE WINDEX and wet the area. Float/apply the trim piece in position and squegee out the excess with the edge of a playing card, credit card, etc. (remember to remove the backing - don't ask how I know this ) BLOT the excess with a paper towel and let dry for 24 hours. This minimizes/eliminates any chance of bubbles. Any loose edges (after it has dried ) can be sealed either with MonoKote Trim Solvent or a trim iron set on low (just enough to soften the glue underneath ).
