How can I remove Lustrecoat from canopy?
I just painted my canopy with white lustrecoat (spraycan) and some spatter got onto unwanted areas. What can I use to get it off? The canopy is made out of PETG plastic (same as plastic soda bottles I believe). I tried paint thinner with no luck.

Pollish it of with scratch remover polish made for face shields and motorcycle wind shields. Other than that you will ruin you canope.

Well I've tried almost everything. A little CA debonder, nail polish removal and Topflite Trim Solvent and still no luck. All I've managed to do is loosen the paint then smear it around. Check out all the spatter too. I have access to 100% acetone, so I thought I would test that on some extra plastic 1st.

acetone will turn the plastic into jelly. i second the high nitro fuel. let it sit for a while, until it has evaporated, and put more in. it will desolve the paint and leave the plastic alone.

Automobile brake fluid will remove just about any paint from just about any plastic.
Place several layers of paper towel over the unwanted paint and saturate them with brake fluid (the cheaper, the better).
It may take several hours, but it will wrinkle up and you can get it off.
You may have to take all the paint off and repaint the canopy.
In this case, make sure you get ALL the brake fluid off the plastic prior to painting
