Default Pull-Pull

What is the benefit and/or drawback of a pull-pull rudder system? The Ultra RC YAK has all the hardware for a pull- pull, but it sounds like setup and configuration is a nightmare. I was thinking of just using a standard control rod as I have never attempted a pull-pull.

Default RE: Pull-Pull

Hi!
A pull-pull system using thinnest possible fishing wire is the best way to steer an airplane.
It is light and doesn't transfer vibrations from the engine and rudder surfaces to the servos like a control rod does so servos last longer.
You also get a very stiff elevator/rudder set-up with this system without much tensioning required in the wires.
I use it where ever I can.
Regards!
