Default How do you install windshield??

I am in the process of finishing a Slow Poke 40 ARF and need some advice on installing the wind shield. I read the reviews of this plane and in one of them it states something about using Shoo Goo to glue the shield on the fusilage, BUT man what a mess I am making trying this. It is a good thing alcohol will clean it up. I have tried twice to get it on but the Goo doesn't seem to stick to the platic very well. Anyway I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks

Try removing some of the covering where the windshield is to be placed.

Is the windshield curved to fit the shape of the fuselage?

It's hard to get something straight to line up with something curved, and stay there, while glue dries!

If not, try to form it to approximate shape. A little heat here may help.

Then try some Pacer Canopy Glue. Water clean-up and dries clear.

Maybe a couple of tiny screws into hard points inside the fuselage would work too.

Thanks Dick, I got almost the same advice from the LHS yesterday. I bought some SUPER RC Z 56, taped the wind shield down and ran a bead of this white glue on the inside edge. I'll run a small bead on the outside when this dries. This glue is also suppose to dry clear and flexible. I appreciate the help.
