Default Engine mount fitting

I've got a Saito 100 that I'm trying to find a mount for. Don't want to use a metal mount, so was looking at the Dave Brown 90 fs mount. It fits the motor but it is just a smidge tight. I've heard that the only part of the motor that should touch the mount is the mounting lugs. This mount fits but it squeezes against the body under the lugs. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Default RE: Engine mount fitting

As long as the engine is not "spreading" the mount you should be fine. As far as the mount only touching the lugs, don't see the point in that. The lugs are part of the casting.
