Covering help:)
Hello all, I've seen planes with the American flag and such
on parts of the wing, fuse and tail sections.... Are these people
just really good at covering or can you buy covering with
certain prints on them?? Thanks for any info...

RE: Covering help:)
These "prints" are done by the person covering the plane.
It isn't that hard, it just takes some time. If you are going to try this, use a NEW #11 blade on a piece of glass to cut your design parts out. Then apply them using either MonoKote Trim Solvent or use Blue Windex to apply them. I use Windex to apply trim pieces, and when dry, go over them LIGHTLY with an iron on a low temp. From what I have read, the Monokote Trim Solvent will work only on Monokote - something about the composition of the adhesive on other films.

I don't know if you've seen it or not, but here is a step by step howto in the Tips & Techniques forum:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_60.../tm.htm#603331
Did a search for "American Flag"
Good Luck.
