I have built the Balsa USA Laker and installed a four stroke engine that requires a 12" prop. The problem that I have is the 12" prop will hit the canopy. Could I go with a smaller 3 blade prop?Where can I find a prop chart for 3 blade props?
Thanks

I was in the same boat
I was running a 13-6 on my Warplane. I went to an 11-7 three bladed prop with great success. I was told when I was researching that a guy should drop an inch. I dropped 2 inches and went up 1 on the pitch. Idealy I should have went from a 13-6 to a 12-5 3 blade. The 11-7 3 is running great still with no worries.
I hope I helped

Thanks for the help. I found a prop chart on the Zinger Site that said the same thing. I would really like to get to a 10", but that might be pushing my luck.
