Default help engine/feul problem sig something extra

I have been given a sig somethin' extra with a gms .46. It was built from a kit and the prevois owner told me that because the centerline of the feul tank is higher than the carb, the engine craps out during inverted flight which it does. besides cutting the tank out and moving it in the fuse is there anything else i should know or look for?

my something extra that i built from a kit does not have that problem. i have used a magnum 53 and also a mecoa 46 and have'nt had any problem. did he change the location of the tank? or is possibly the clunk jammed in the tank?
