Default Robart Problem

My robarts retract fine but when I go to lower the gear one hangs up. When on the bench if you push the gear slightly up into the wing it will then lower after a noticable click. I thought it was binding but the same thing happens with it out of the wing hanging. Anyone know, what is the click and how do I fix it?

Which retract?

I'm assuming you can easily see that the strut is not contacting the retract frame when retracted.

You may have a burr or some other obstruction in the retract groove, or worse yet, within the air cylinder. Disconnect the air cylinder from the the strut, and see if the gear rotates freely within the groove.

Make sure that they are mounted absolutely square. Unscrew it from the mounts and see if it does the same thing. The slightest twist in the mount will make them bind.
