Default Fuel Proof?

I am building a TF Cessna 182 and will be glassing and painting rather than using plastic covering.
I was wondering if automotive acrylic lacquer will be fuel proof or if there are other better options?

Thanks in advance

Ari

Yep, it is. Try this link for more than you might ever want to know from the guys who developed the process:

Ari,
I have used automotive acrylic lacquer on models for over 20 years and never had a problem with fuel damage(up to 50%nitro) The only draw back is the polishing to get the mirror finish.

Cheers.
