new foamy

Default new foamy

hey guys any suggestions on how best to set this up. I'm torn between flaperons or elevator with ailerons for this bird, it has a 48" wingspan and is powered by an OS26FS, wt. is three lbs+- a few ounces, with all electronics

also does anyone have suggestions as to which prop size I should use in this application. I really could use some input.

What you want to use on a flying wing is "elevons". Two surfaces, one on each side, mixed to perform as both elevators and ailerons.

I vote for 'elevons' too.... works just fine in my "foamy"

Either way works equally well. I've used both. 9-6 prop would be a place to start. Let us know how it works out.

I would use elevons.
