Default 4* 60 Cowling???

Buz, I saw a guy with one the other day that had a closed in nose on it and it looked great. He made a thin ply ring that was the size of the spinner he wanted to use and then glued in balsa blocks on all four sides and went to sanding. Kinda the same as building an Ultra Sport nose.....John

Default 4* 60 Cowling???

E-mail your address to me. I have a PDF of a how to build a wood cowl. If it is a free mail service, don't bother as the file is 5MB.

Default 4* 60 Cowling???

If you can find a Sept. 2000 ( I think) RCM mag. There is a step by step article on building one for the 4 star (40 or 60) or the goldberg tiger 60 or tiger 2. I'm in the fonal throws kit bashing a tiger 60 and it includes this cowl. It's very easy to do.

Default 4* 60 cowl

Check out www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com They sell a cap type cowl made specifically for a four star 60. Bet it would be cool on a four star, even cooler if you kitbashed a cap canopy to go along with it. Look under the catalog and then click on cowls and accesories for kits, then click on sig which is in the middle column towards the bottom.
