I just bought some Oracover, a transparent yellow film and a white film, to do my first covering job. With the white film I had no problems using the iron at 250°F, but the the yellow seems to have no adhesive. I have tried different temperatures (250° and more), both sides and the problem persists. What might I been doing wrong?

There may be a problem with the yellow. Have been using Oracover for years with no problems. Check both sides, there should be a shiny and a dull(glue) side. If none take back to where you bought it.
Cheers.

Ok I have already a solution:
"Is there a still a nearly invisible protective film on the Oracover ?
I had this problem with a very thin film once. It was quite difficult to take the protective film away even if you know it is there.
RK (rkopka)"
"The white film as a clear protective film, the yellow as a very very thin protectiv film difficult to dettach. Thanks, you were 2000% right!!"

Hi!
Oracover doesn't have a"thin" plastic film at the back. They use waxed paper which is very easy to remove.
Are you sure is's Oracover you have bought??
Have used Oracover since it came about 20 years more ago and it adher without problem to everything.

I am sure that is oracover. The solid colors have that paper at the back, the transparent have that thin transparent protective film.
The adhesive capacity is great, and even better is that at the places where the two films are one over the other (joining parts) I can't see any sginal of that (darker color for exmaple).
