Default Which film covering do you you prefer?

Thought it may be time for a poll on rc airplane film coverings. An informal, unscientific poll of us grunts down at the workbench level. The options will list many common coverings plus "other". If you choose other, please specify brand if possible. It might also be helpful if you can specify how many kits you have built. Assume this is a plane that would look better with film rather than fabric. Thanks!

It really should be multiple choice here as I use different coverings for different applications. If I am painiting and want an iron on covering I will use OzCover that I import from australia, if I want colors then I usually use Monokote. when it's fabric I always go with SIG Koverall.

Ultracote is my favorite hands down. But I still use MK if I need a certain color.

By far the strongest is OZ and RhinoHide but they require painting unless you wand clear or pearl white.

You should make room in your poll for those who have for instance, used both MK and UC and like UC or MK better since they are the most used.

Actually, you should break it down into film and fabric coverings.

I use Ultracote 98% of the time in a film covering and SolarTex 95% of the time if I need a fabric covering.

I used Monokote from the day it came out, untill last year when I got some bad rolls, and nobody at the dealers would even bother to answer my inquiries about it. I cover planes for other modelers and I make sure that they bring Ultra Cote now, and also use it on my own planes.

I realize that covering is very complex and that a simple poll such as this one cannot cover everyone's preferences. However, assumimg you are going to cover with film, which of the brands in the poll question do you prefer? How many covering jobs have you done?

By my count, the totals are:
Monokote - 1
Ultracote - 3
Other - 2

Let's get some more votes!!!!
