I didn't realize that the AMA insurance extends to stolen planes. Is this true? I am a member, and have worried about planes in my trailer!
This is true, but there must be signs of forcible entry, in other words, keep them under lock and key or you're out of luck. Some insurance companies fight auto theft claims when the keys were left in the car, only makes sence.

yes they cover stolen planes, as said before you need a police report and proof that your vehical was entered by force. basically not many can make the claim since 80% of the feilds I've been to almost nobody locks their vehicals, heck most of the vehicals have all widows down doors open tailgates down and stereos blairing. R/c junk everywere, out in the open not many even concideing their stuff would get ripped off by friends since everyone at the feild knows everyone else and anyone that is new get a mob of people wanting to test fly their stuff for them. The only places I even think about my stuff getting messed with is sibulvida basin, it's LA come on, and competitions in Las Vagas

Just join. Fifty eight dollars is nothing compared to what happened to me. i was hit in right leg with a Q500 and AMA paid out over 15.000 dollars for my repairs. IF your life is not worth $58 find a diffrent hobby.
