Default Poly C

I saw in an article in RCM&E of Dec 2005 reference to a product called PolyC used for finishing a kit. From where can I buy this stuff please?

Do you mean Minwax PolyCrylic? It's a clear wood finish, comes in blue cans. Ace Hardware carries it.

Have been on the web to Ace but "Miniwax Poly crylic" does not give a response. Any more tips or tricks? Thanks for your reply

Thanks for that. I am not sure if Home Depot send things to an international address but I will give it a try when their web page is up and running again. Many thanks

You may have more success looking for "Minwax" products instead of "Miniwax".

Here's a link that is perhaps what you are looking for http://www.minwax.com/products/prote...polycrylic.cfm

Since you are not on this side of the pond, look for WATER BASE POLYURETHANE. Different manufacturers refer to it by various names. I know Minwax and Deft have a water base polyurethane.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help everyone. The water based polyeurethane seals it for me (sorry)
