Inverted 4-stroke Engine???
I'm putting a Magnum 61 4-stroke in a Tiger Moth. I have to invert the engine. When engine is mounted this way what do I do with that "vent tube- breather" that comes out the bottom of the engine? Do I make the hose longer and curve it around inside the cowl or what? HELP!!! Rick.......

Inverted 4-stroke Engine???
I have an OS 70 Surpass four-stroke that passes what seems like a lot of oil--a slow but more or less continuous drip--from the crankcase vent. My other four-strokes (Saito, TT, YS and OS 91) drip much less. Some are mounted inverted, some upright. When I mount a four-stroke inverted, I fuel-tube the vent out the bottom of the cowl, but when I get home I park the plane upside down to drain the crankcase and run the tube straight into a small collection bottle.
