Request for "deep blue" and "midnight blue" ultracote photos.
I'm trying to decide on a covering color, and it's difficult with the little tiny swatches available on the web. It's down to "deep blue" or "midnight blue" ultracote. If anyone has used either of these colors on an airplane, please post pictures! The more the merrier.
Thanks... I appreciate the help!

RE: Request for "deep blue" and "midnight blue" ultracote photos.
Thanks for the pic, carrellh.
I've been looking at pics of Goldberg Ultimates, and there is quite a wide variety of shades of blue represented. I have posted a few pics in rough order from darkest to lightest. Would it be correct to say that the actual color is not quite as dark as the darkest picture below, but gravitates towards the darker end of the spectrum instead of the very light blue pictures at the bottom?

RE: Request for "deep blue" and "midnight blue" ultracote photos.
The top photo looks to be a darker blue than UltraCote Deep Blue; perhaps the guy used MonoKote.
The others all look right to me. Keep in mind that some of the photos are under flourescent light, some under natural light. It does make a difference in color perception.
In the Kit Building Forum, Questions about CG Ultimate thread, there is a photo of the tail of mine. You can see that it looks pretty much like all the other color depths here (except the top photo).
