OK, I'm mounting a Saito 1.00 in a Hanger 9 P-40. I know that it neds to follow the center line that is drawn on the firewall. IF it doesn't follow that line what do you use to shim it over? The holes are already drilled and slotted for movement from left to right but when I secure the engine it sits at an angle to the front of the cowl where the spinner mounts. It isn't a matter of "Pluging and redrilling" the holes but one of changing the angle of the engine to allow the spinner to sit correctly.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Most people use steel washers around the mounting bolts to cock the mount or the engine on the mount?
Also Ernst makes thrust angle shims in 1, 2, & 3 degree sizes.
