Hobbico product support rules!
Its not often that you see a positive post so I thought I would share my experience. I'll just outline it so it isn't a long story.
I bought a roll of Monokote in Pearl White color. I was hoping it would be like the color of some Audi or Cadillac cars, kinds of a deep shiny "pearly" white. I tried it out and its actually a very transparent silver color. It looks white on the roll but not when you apply it. I called Tower and they suggested I try Hobbico directly first to see if it was defective. Hobbico immediately apologized and said it must be a bad roll and agreed to send me a new roll. (They have the Tower info in their computers so they could see my order.)
Then at lunch I went web surfing and saw a few posts about how the pearl white is really a clear silver and that it doesn't look good. I called Hobbico back and told them to just forget sending me a new roll because I wouldn't use it. I was hoping they might agree to send me another color. The guy looked up my info and put me on hold for a minute. He comes back and says it is too late and that the new roll is already boxed up and off to shipping. He then happily asks me to choose another color (I tried the "aluminum" color) and he sent me that for free too! I didn't even ask! He said to just keep the other roll anyway.
Alsoa few weeks ago my Slot Machine hinge slot tool broke. I called them and they had my purchase info and just sent me a new one. I didn't have to spend money to send them the old one or anything.
Its not often that you see that kind of support.

RE: Hobbico product support rules!
I know there will be many with bad experiences. That's why I wrote this thread. Nobody writes to tell about good experiences anymore. So far so good with them.
