Spray Gun/Compressor - Help/Advice
Hello All, I am considering purchasing a spray gun and compressor setup ..... primarily because I now want/need some custom colors and clear coats that are not available in spray cans.
Wondering if good results (for RC aircraft use) can be obtained by the setups at Sears ? I know guns from Sata (for example) are much better ...... but will I notice the difference on a large RC airplane ?. Sears has a gravity feed detailing gun for $ 90 ..... approximately 1/3 the price of Sata type gun. I will probably only be spraying enamels ..... since I am not sure I want to mess with the safety precautions needed for PPG or Dupont type paints. Thanks. Bob

RE: Spray Gun/Compressor - Help/Advice
Look to Harbor Freight. They have a number of guns that work well for models. I have one that Dave Platt recommended. It is a small gravity feed gun with a 5 ounce cup. I got it on sale for about $30. Works great for my use. Regards.
