You can make one yourself, jusy buy the glow plug connector from one of the suppliers listed in this thread, buy a C or D cell from Radio Shack along with a toggle switch and a charge cord made from a broken servo or switch harness and solder it all together.

A "D" cell powered one of my S.T. 90 engines for 4-15 minuet flights one day and still had power left, you just charge it with your radio charger.

With this system in a new plane one day I took off too lean and the engine quit just before the first turn in the pattern.

Out of shear desperation and while the engine was spinning down I pulled the throttle back and pushed it foreword again and to my amazement the engine restarted.... can you figure out why this happened?

You CAN use the 'on board glow driver" for just starting your engine, turn it on, start the engine and turn it off, of course the engine will keep running, you just turn it off in your usual way, throttle trim, throttle cut or hit the ground.

Here's another. www.maxxprod.com MPI makes a good one called "Super Glo", about $45 or so. I have two, they work flawlessly, have both manual and automatic functions.
