I'm finishing up my Sig Extra 300XS. It will be powered by the BCMA-SPE40. AUW dry is 13.4 pounds. Will the APC 18X6W work for this? Will it give enough thrust to hover?

How big is the engine ...40cc?
Then the prop is way way too small. A 18x6 prop is for a 25cc two stroke glow engine.

You might consider asking the question in ‘Tachometer Readings.’ Don’t have 40cc engines but an 18 x 6 prop will be too small.
