Default pipe physics

im looking for some info on what pipe would be the best choice for a .70- its not going in a plane, but i cant seem to get any acccurate info on what to look for in a pipe. ive been told to just use any pipe, but i cant see the differece between most of the pipes for trucks, and the engine has a lower operating rpm than most. i figure you guys would have good info, so could sombody help me out?

you would be better off contacting the manufacturer and telling them the engine make and size and operating rpm you want the pipe tuned to.remember that the pipe is only in tune for a small range of rpm usuall full throttle, any other setting it is just an exhuast with no power increase.
