What does negative shift mean when talking about receivers? All of my equipment in Futaba...does this mean I can by a Hitec receiver that says negative shift and will work with my transmitters(same freq of course)? I am just trying to widen the possibilities for buying compatible equipment.
thanks

TLH is correct.
If you were to look at the transmitter output on an OScope you would see a carrier wave with the information looking like spikes (sort of like an EKG looks)
Negative shift the carrier would be in the center and the spikes would go down, positive shift they would go up. (this is a simplified explanation)
The reciever needs to know which way to expect the information.
