RE: bubble wrap for vibration insulation
About ten years ago I was trying to install a Video camera in a Telemaster The problem I was having was the pictures were so so bad that you could not look at them. Shuting the engine down made the video picture great. I had some 1 in sguare graph paper that I pined down to my work table. I would then pack the Video camera with different kinds of material . I tried to use bubble wrap looking at the video pictures at the 1 in square graph paper and the vibration was not any better then using new foam (not) rubber. My next try was with foam rubber made out of real rubber. This was better but good as I wanted. We next tried using rubber bands to suspend the camera and this worked . I flew models back when we had reed receivers and you had to mount them in real foam rubber or you would crash. I hope this answer your question . I am not an expert, this was my experience BOB

RE: bubble wrap for vibration insulation
I just did an experiment. I replaced the foam rubber that is sandwiched between the fuel tank and the fuselage side with 3 layers of small bubble wrap . The tank was held in place with rubberbands like in a Profile 3 D plane. I then started the engine and compared the frothing in the tank between the foam rubber and the bubble wrap . I am happy to report that the bubble pack works as well as the foam rubber . Now this is heck of a lot cheaper than buying a sheet of foam rubber.
