Default EPA for electrics?

While programming my new TX for an electric, I've run into a problem. The motor won't run. I'm a whiz at programming glo planes, but these electrics are another kind of animal. I had it programmed into another TX, but that's unavailable to me at this time. It seems to me that you use the EPA option to get the electric motor to run, but I've somehow completely forgotten. There's nothing wrong with the plane's components. It has an Apollo speed controller, Hi-Max outrunner motor and a LiPO battery. The TX is Futaba 7AC. Can someone give me a few tips on this?

I ran into this problem myself... make SURE the throttle trim is set to 0... default is half way... with this trim setting the speed control see's throttle position and won't arm... it's a safety feature. EPA should be at 100% in both directions.

With Futaba you must set the throttle channel to REVERSE.
