what engine for ultra stick 40?
I need a reliable 2 stroke engine that is in the low price range (under 120 bucks) that will be reliable enough to hover 2 in. off the ground in a torque roll, and would give me unlimited vertical. I don't know the specs of the plane, but I'm looking for others with good plane/engine combos. I need the complete package for my ultra stick 40

I belive something like an Irvine 53 would be a great match for what your looking for! I am flying the US 40 with a K&B 65 and it goes like rocket. I'v seen one fly with a 46FX and it would hover. Any good BB through the 46-53 range should give you nice performance. Hope this helps some!

How about a Thunder Tiger Pro .61? It's $100 I believe. I don't have any personal experience with the .61, but I have four Pro .46's and I love them.

Totally with flyboy on this one. Go with the OS 46 FX. Later on if you want even more power, bolt a Performance Specialties Ultrathrust muffler on it. It will be ballistic then.
