rotating retracts
Does anyone make a set of rotating retracts to fit in a large P40? Or a plane that weighs 15-20 lbs.
I know Robart does (#148) but does anyone else?
And what is the general opinion about those.
Thanks in advance.
Tom

Sierra Precision
Tom,
Sierra Precision makes retracts for a P40 in the range
you are looking for. I don't think they have them
on their site yet. But I know they have them. A friend
of mine has a set in his Bates P40. They work great.
Their web site is : www.sierraprecision.com
Hope they can help.

P-40 retracts
Century Jet Models makes 3 sizes of rotating retracts. One should work for you. Here is their website:

They are all metal and come with functional oleo struts. I've never tried them but they look really well made. They are here in town and I know several of the guys that work there, so if they give you any crap let me know and I'll go slap them around.
No, really, they are a good bunch. :spinnyeye
