been flying arf for about 4 years everything from g/p cap 580 three hanger 9 warbirds and my little sig4*. and some stuff inbeteen. i really like to try and build one . have a thunder tiger 61 pro and a 46 elev. hanging around to use for powerplant any ideas on what to build for the first one . thanks alot to any reply. phil

Try the Sig Astro Hog for your 61. If you're really wanting a building experience, this should do it for you as there's lots of carving, sanding, etc, but the instructions and plans are pretty straight-forward.

Some kit makers have the manual online. Here are the ones I could find easily. By looking at the manual you can get some impression of the complexity of the build.

SIG manuals are not online. I have seen the Somethin Extra recommended as a good first build.
