Who makes a good remote glow plug adapter?
I'm soon going to be needing a remote glow plug adapter. I've never had to use one before so I'm not sure of the quality of the ones available. Can someone recommend a good unit that will remain secure on the glow plug? I prefer one with a bracket that I can mount to the firewall. All opinions welcome.
Thanks,
Birman

I have two remote on board glow plug drivers. They both work great, but I don't like either's way of clipping on the glow plug. I read in last month's RC Report, where a guy was using the hard steel clips used for RC car bodies to secure to the glow plug. He simply soldered the lead to the clip, and clipped it to the plug. Haven't tried it myself, but it sounds like it should work.

I just use a wheel collor, file the plating off one side and solder a wire to it and use the set screw to hold it on. use a fiber washer under it to keep it from shorting out.
