Lots of members in your club....
Only about 5 to 10 guys at the most show up on the weekend at the club I am in and we fly about anytime we feel like it. I also go through the week and normally have the whole field to myself in the mornings when the sun is at my back. I flew 9 times last sunday before I packed up and left.
When you have a lot of members at your club field how do you determine when it's your turn to fly?
How many times can you fly?

RE: Lots of members in your club....
Our club is about 55 - 60 members on a nice saturday afternoon we can expect 20 people but thats a bit rare,
There really isnt turns just go when ever you want, get the frequency pic make sure there are 4 or less piloits on the flight line and go , if those requirments are not met just sit and wait a second they are met .
As far as how many tha depends on the person i know people that do nothing but fly land fuel fly land fuel fly land fuel charg batterys ..... in that order over and over but i am more social i enjoy talking to the guys that are standing around. so how many flights is not lowered by the number of mebers as long as you dont talk to people

We are the same. As long as you have the freguency pin, just fly. The club that I am a member off has alot of retired fellows who fly during the week, leaving the weekend for all the members that work. During the summer we have a monthly fun fly where all members come fly, which is great as then I can visit with all my buddies that are retired. Good Luck, Dave

RE: Lots of members in your club....
We have 50-60 members also. I like to fly mornings and afternoons during the week also since it's pretty quiet then.
We have 12 flight stations now and they rarely all get filled on nice weekends.
Waiting for pins is reserved for members using channels 37 to 48. Half of our members seem to be in this spread. Myself, I got a deal on a Ch 13 transmitter and have been flying with my own pin since.
The 2.4 mhz is getting popular also but many glitches are being reported
