What was that plane at Perry?

You know the phrase" Coulda, woulda, shoulda" well I was doing my last loop at Perry on Saturday and saw a really nice 20 size Canard plane that was white with a silver painted canopy and Stars and Bars on the wing. The engine was a new TT10 or 20 not sure. The price was $200. Well I was already over budget and didn't get the plane. The gentleman said it was a Sig kit that was pretty complete. After getting home I went to the Sig site thinking this summer this would be a fun project and could not find the plane on the Sig site. The plane was in the first building about two rows over in line with the entrance. I would appreciate any help on getting the name of the plane and where to buy a kit. Thanks, Pete

Pete,
Disregard the previous. ( I don't know what happened).
What I tried to say is "if you have the row and table number, I can put you onto the owner."

It is the Sig Tri-Star. Great plane. Put a Saito 30 in one. Really flies great. There is a "new" and "old" kit. The "new" has stronger landing gear.
Check E-bay they show up there a lot. Also here art RCU. Usually go for about $90.00

You would have to ask. The new kit has a much stiffer set of landing gear wires. You could easily bend the old set. Mine was the old style and I ordered new gear as a replacement from Sig when I built mine.

I have one of these planes, see my picture for what it looks like. I also have another kit that I am going to kit out so that I can make as many as needed. I just need to find someone who can cut the foam wings, I have no experience with cutting new wings from foam.
I have not yet flown mine, too chicken
but I hope to get it in the air this week since we have some nice weather here.
