Default question on perry pump

Just installed a Perry Pump VP30. I'm running a .75 Tower glow engine. It runs fine at idle but dies at full throttle. Can anyone walk me through the process of setting this thing up. Not sure if the hex nut setting on the pump should be in or out for proper setting. I checked the set-up on the directions.... and all seems right. I'm hoping its all the the settings. Also... I drilled and tapped for a pressure fitting in the back plate of the engine and attached the tube that came with the pump to the pump. I know I'm not suppose to use the pressure fitting on the muffler along with the backplate fitting..... but do I have to block this off or doesn't it make any differents. Thanks for any help you guys can give me. Dick

Default RE: question on perry pump

to increase fuel delivery the hex nut is screwed in.this is typical of requlators, they work opposite of needle valves.
