Default tower 60-- tail-dragger????

I just bought a Tower trainer mk-60---It calls for a 61 engine Im using the OS brand.. My question is ,, would this plane work if I made it a taildragger? If so where should the main gear be located to get the CG right?

Thanks Gentlemen==JIM

Default RE: tower 60-- tail-dragger????

I have converted several nose gear ships and I find that the axle centerline should be in line with the wing's leading edge. I have an aversion to nose gear so ANY conversion is worthwhile (:-).

I don't know where you are in the training curve though so keep in mind that takeoffs can be pretty "exciting" until you get the hang of it.

Regards
