Default Airtronics Servos

I have 3 Airtronic servos. Can I use them with a JR receiver. Looking at the connectors they do not look to be compatable. Do I need to buy a converter cord to use these. [8D]

Refer to the attached diagrams. They do make a converter to change from Airtronics old to the JR, but you can also do it yourself. If you have old Airtronics servos simply shave off the 3 splines on the plug and change the positive and negative wires and they will work just fine with a JR receiver.

Hope this helps

If they have the "old" style black connectors, the wires are in the incorrect position, for a JR reciever. You can swap the middle black, and the red wire, & modify the connector, and they will work, or you can buy adapters. If they have the "blue Z" connectors, they will plug in, and the wiring is correct.
Adapters can be purchased here: http://www.maxxprod.com/mpi/mpi-4.html near the bottom of the page.
