Spring air
Well, this part is not so much a question as it is a general shout out for Spring Air. I ordered my retracts about a month and a half ago and just received them today, and let me say.... TOTALLY FREAKING WORTH IT. I was having some debate as to whether to go with the Robart retracts for my GP Patriot or "spring" the little extra $$ for the Spring Airs and I am glad I made the decision I did! The quality of the retracts is amazing and the tolerances are astounding (granted I haven't slammed them into the ground yet but there is absolutely no play in the struts like some of the cheaper mechanicals... Ask me how I know ).
Aside from my general state of being content, I was hoping some one could post some pictures of how the front steering mount works in practice. Currently i have what I would describe as a sleeve/rod assembly for the front steering. I am assuming that the collar moves as the landing gear retracts, but it seems like it could introduce a little slop into the front steering. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!!
