Default Testing the 'Test Stand' Waters...

What are your best configurations for test stands? Is there a great stand that can be purchased?

Purchase a small adjustable motor mount that will fit all of the engines you think you will use. Mine will accept .049 to 1.20 four stroke. Fix the motor mount to a portable stand.

A great stand that will last a lifetime is made by psp. www.pspmfg.com After years of screwing around with homemade stands I purchased this stand along with the pole.

I stand on the stand and the legs dig into the ground. I have been using this stand for thirty years.

The sure way to ruin an engine and destroy an airplane.
