Default CF Rod on Throttle ?

Just to be on the safe side : Is there any reason why I shouldn't use a CF throttle rod on my Moki 2.10 ?
I was reading somewhere that it should not be done, but I don't see why not ?
Thanks

Carbon Fiber, like metal, can transmit electrical interference from your spark plug to your receiver. Use wood or plastic.

I don't think this is a problem on glow engines.

I run CF rods to the throttle all the time on my pattern models, the only problems that have arisen is the ends of the carbon rod splitting over time from the vibration of the engine on a soft mount. You need to ensure that you have DUAL axis ends (like a H9 or Dubro swivel type ball link) on both ends so that the rod has the freedom to move where it needs to without a load on it.
